      Hoje chegou ao conclusão que falo demais inglês.  A menos que estou aqui, no Salvador, tomando aulas de Portugues, tudos os dias estou com outros estudantes.  Quero comunicar com eles, e fazer melhor amigos, entao falo inglês.  Decidi fazer a meta que cada domingo nao vou falar ninguém palavra de inglês. 

     Quando anda nas ruas com outros estudantes americanos, falando inglês, sinto como estamos nosso propio mundo, nao em Salvador.  Nao estou observando o morando como um cidadão baiano, e so estou aprendendo coisas sobre meus colegas.

      Gosto muito de meus colegas; acho que todos somos pessoas com muito coragem.  Especialmente meu amigo Reuben, falei com ele uma vez voltando das aulas no CEAO.  Acho que perguntei a ele demais perguntas e agora ele nao gosta de mim, mas depois de nosso conversação tenho muito respeito para ele. 

Quero lembrar; "Desta forma, apresentamos a mostra fotografia que representa amplos e silenciosos espaços em construção como forma de pensar…"


     Today I came to the conclusion that I speak too much english.  Even though I'm studying in Salvador, I speak english every day with other students in the program.  I want to communicate and make friends, so I feel like I have to speak a lot of english.  I decided to make the goal to not speak any english every Sunday.

     When I walk in the streets with other students, speaking english, I feel like we are in our own world, not in Salvador.  I am not observing or living like a citizen here, and so I am only learning new things about other students in the program.

     I really like the other students in the program, I think we are all people with a lot of courage.  I will never forget this weekend at Praia do Forte, I felt like I got to know a lot of people a lot more closely.  Although the town itself was like a shopping mall, it was really relaxing to be in a calm place where you don't always have to watch your back.  The beach was almost empty and clean, and we had a fire and swam out to the fishing boats and jumped off the top.
