Ja fiquei no Salvador por dois noites, e um dia. Mas, no posso acreditar que so e tanto pouco tempo. Acabo de conheci os filhos de uma família, e a jefe da restaurante do hotel. Conversemos muito, eles tiveram muitas perguntas! Gostei de falar com eles, especialmente os filhos e a sobrinha por que sao mais faciles entender. Almorcamos juntos, e depois eles me daram muito sorvete.
Meu primer noite, no hostel Porto Salvador, conheci a algumas meninas quem ficavam no mesmo dorm comigo. Fuimos ao Praca de Se para dançar o forro. Cheguei durante as festividades de Sao Joao, que inclue fogos artificias nas ruas, chuva, cowboy hats, e luces verdes. Acho que estava com muita sorte conhecer as meninas Marian, Angilique, Adrenne, Jessica e Lizbeth. Sinto muito que agora nao posso recordar o nome de a ultima. Elas ja moravam no Salvador e saberão como se porta para nao atraer demais atenção, especialmente atenção dos meninos. Na amanha de Sabado fuimos juntos a praia, onde nao poderei parar de nadar. Nao havia olhado tantas pessoas quasi nus.
Agora tenho ir para nadar com meus amigos; os filhos do hotel Vila Gale.

I have been in Salvador now for two nights and a day, but I can't believe that its only been such a short time. I just met the children of the family of the restaurant manager in my hotel. We talked quite a bit, they had a lot of questions! I really enjoyed talking with them, especially with the oldest because they are patient and easy to understand. We had lunch together and after they served me a lot of ice cream.
My first night in Salvador, at the hostel, I met some other students who were staying in the same dorm with me. We went to the Praca de Se to dance and celebrate a festa do Sao Joao. I arrived right in the middle of the festivities of Sao Joao, which include fireworks in the streets, rain, cowboy hats, forro (fast music with accordions) and green lights in the tree branches. I think I was really lucky to meet the other girls in my dorm; Marian, Angilique, Adrenne, Jessica, and Lizbeth. They have already lived in Salvador and knew how to act and not attract too much attention, especially attention from meninos. Saturday morning we went to the beach, where I couldn't stop swimming. I have never seen so many almost naked people.
Right now I have to go swim in the hotel pool with my friends; the children of the hotel Vila Gale.

Tchau hostel Porto Salvador e hotel Vila Gale! Agora tenho uma família no Salvador. Moro num apartamento muito limpo no quarto andar de um edifício de oito andares com minha mae nova e a filha dela. Minha mae se chama Ana Helena, sua filha Luize. Luize e eu temos o mesmo edade. Ela trabalha no administração da universidade UFBA. Tambem hoje conheci ao nieto de Ana, ele tem 3 anos e se chama Dudu. Ele gosta de arte, e mora com seus pais perto de aqui.
Goodbye hostel Porto Salvador and hotel Vila Gale! Now I have a family in Salvador. I live in a very clean apartment on the fourth floor of an eight floor apartment buidling with my host mother and her daughter. My host mothers' name is Ana Helena and her daughter is Luize. Me and Luize are the same age, she works for the University. Today I also met the nephew of Ana, he is three and his name is Dudu. He likes to paint and make art, and he lives with his parents very close by.
